Dr. Alan Morrison is a Top-Rated internal medicine doctor in the Washington D.C. area who came to Touchpoint with a common problem: he had an outdate website that was not accessible from mobile devices, and offered little value to patients.
We decided together that modernizing his online presence with a new responsive website and building custom, HIPAA-compliant digital experiences at multiple patient touchpoints would make his practice more visible and would provide an elevated patient experience.

Dr. Morrison wanted an easy, HIPAA-Compliant, and ADA Accessible way for patients to register with the practice via any device from anywhere at any time. This meant creating a secure and responsive online form system, which would be integrated into his website.
The forms system would be able to handle conditional logic, convert patient inputs into a pre-designed PDF, and send email and/or text notifications to patients and staff.
The results were a more rapid, accessible, and enjoyable patient registration process for both patients and staff.
Many of Dr. Morrison's patients were used to paying for bills over the phone, but the experience was lacking in that there was no easy way to pay without being in person or getting in touch with staff over the phone.
The options available for online bill pay through the existing Electronic Medical Records system and payment processors were both archaic and lacked a user friendly interface.
We built a modern, easy-to-use payment solution, which offered a competitive processing rate, has support for Apple Pay, and was able to be integrated directly into the newly developed website.
Paper forms were no longer cutting it for Dr. Morrison and his staff. While in some cases, it was necessary to have paper forms printed, it was clear that paper was more of a hinderance on the practice than it needed to be.
We designed a hybrid approach using online and digital forms, which would automatically be converted to PDF so that all information was stored digitally and securely for access from anywhere, but could also easily be printed when paper versions were required.
